2008-12-19 03:17:58used this. worked pretty well in maya 2008 sp1. did not freeze up my machine or anything. - Thijs
2008-04-24 20:10:32It may take Maya a while to re-process all the shaders as they have changed. Does it freeze permanently, or is maya just busy updating? What if you wait a minute or so?
Could you try to figure out whether this might be 64-bits related or an issue related to a specific texture or shader in your scene?
