Synopsis:
A collection of texture tools: cleanup your texture collection, clean your sourceimages dir, conform textures when their location got mixed up and Mental Ray Memory Mapped Texture and Texture Gamma tools.
Tip: This script is part of the TOI Maya Toolbox. It's a collection of scripts with an easy-to-use installer.
The TOI Toolbox is available for download from our general downloads page.
Usage:
Load (source) the script and call toi_textureTools() to start the interface.

2009-12-13 18:42:10Justin> I think it has something to do with backslashes in the network path. I've changed the function that creates the system calls to imf_copy (the thing that does the actual conversion). Hopefully that helps
Version 5.7 also adds support to check textures on imagePlanes, IBL and LightProfile IES/Eulumdat files. Those won't be converted to .map files however.
The two buttons for the gamma fix (Framebuffer method) have been merged into one single button for clarity. - Justin
2009-10-21 17:12:18The .map file creation is not working for me. I have my project set correctly, however the location of the project is on a network server. Will that cause a problem? Anyway, what happens is the script says it is creating .map files, but when it is done I can't find them in my sourceimages folder where my original files are. Any idea what may be happening? Is it saving them in a different location? - Thijs
2009-07-30 01:34:225.6 adds a feature that handles stale .map file associations: if the filetexture is set to use a .map file that does not exist, but the original is still there, it will be fixed. You can re-create the .map file afterward, if you like. - Thijs

2008-04-01 17:42:125.3.1 adds better heuristics to the conform function to find 'lost' textures and adds an extra option to delete orphaned filenodes.
